Wissenbach in the World Community

The Wissenbach Group has formed a partnership with The Fred Hollows Foundation one of the world’s leading blindness prevention organisations.

The foundation seeks to eradicate blindness in developing countries and since its launch in 1992, has helped restore the sight of more than a million people worldwide.

The Wissenbach Group is currently funding the construction of a new eye clinic in the remote Rolpa region of Nepal. The Fred Hollows Foundation is working with the Tilganga Eye Centre based in Kathmandu, which runs rural community eye clinics throughout the country, to build the Rolpa Community Eye Centre.

Previous projects funded by The Wissenbach group include the provision of 670 concrete cooking stoves for villagers across the Amhara region of Ethiopia.
